Effects of Announcement of a Liability on Period of Limitation [Section 18]

Sometimes a liability may be acknowledged by the party against whom the liability is alleged within the period of limitation. If this acknowledgement is made in writing, it would give rise to a fresh period of limitation and it would run from the date of acknowledgement.
